Salma is a 90-episode Lebanese-Syrian Arabic-language drama series that premiered on MBC1 and Shahid on 17 August 2025. It is an Arabic adaptation of Nippon TV's acclaimed Japanese series Woman – My Life for My Children (2013), previously adapted for Turkey as Kadın, and follows a young mother left to raise her two children alone after her husband Jalal disappears under mysterious circumstances. Directed by Ender Emir and produced by Medyapim for MBC Group, the series stars Maram Ali in the lead role alongside Nicolas Mouawad, Stephanie Atala, and a largely Lebanese and Syrian cast whose performances drew notable audience engagement across the Arab world.
