Noss Yom (Half a Day)(2016)

Noss Yom (Half a Day) is a Syrian-Lebanese drama series that aired during Ramadan 2016, with episodes running approximately 40 minutes each. Directed by Samer Barqawi and produced by Al-Sabbah Productions, the series is adapted from Cornell Woolrich's novel Waltz into Darkness. It follows Mayar, an expatriate who returns home after his father's death to settle family affairs, only to fall in love with the enigmatic Yara — a woman he later discovers is a seasoned con artist — setting off a tense, darkly romantic spiral of obsession and deceit. The series stars Syrian actor Taim Hassan as Mayar alongside Lebanese actress Nadine Nassib Njeim as Yara/Meissa, with a supporting cast including Oways Makhallati, Widad Jabour, Yvonne Maalouf, and Georges Diab.
