Mitl el Amar (As Beautiful as the Moon)(2016)

Metel El Amar (As Beautiful as the Moon) is a Lebanese romantic drama series that premiered on MTV Lebanon on 11 January 2016, with episodes running approximately 40 minutes each. It is a licensed Lebanese adaptation of the iconic 1994 Mexican telenovela Marimar, produced by Marwa Group, directed by Caesar Haj Khalil, and written by Dalia Hadad. The series centres on Qamar, a beautiful and innocent young woman living with her grandparents in a seaside hut, whose life is upended when she falls in love with Jihad, the reckless son of a wealthy farmer, setting off a sweeping class conflict between the rich and the poor. The lead cast is headed by Stephanie Saliba as Qamar and Wissam Saliba as Jihad, supported by Katia Kaadi, Wafaa Tarabeih, Jihad Al Atrash, Lara El Khoury, Edwar Al Hashem, and Youmna Chery, among others.
