Dofaat Beirut (Class of Beirut)(2020)

Dofaat Beirut (Class of Beirut) is a Kuwaiti-produced Arabic period drama television series that premiered on Shahid.net in October 2020 and aired on MBC Drama during Ramadan 2021. Written by Heba Meshari Hamada and directed by Ali Al-Ali, the series is set in 1964 Beirut and follows a diverse group of students from across the Arab world who converge on the American University of Beirut, finding themselves swept up in a clash of ideas, ambitions, and customs — as well as entangled in romance and intrigue. The ensemble cast includes Fatima Al-Safi, Mahmoud Nasr, Nour Al-Ghandour, and Lebanese actors Carlos Azar and Anas Tayara, among others.
