Anbar 6 (Cell No.6)(2021)

Anbar 6 is a Lebanese-produced Arabic-language drama series that premiered on Shahid VIP in December 2021. Inspired by true events, it follows the intersecting stories of three women who confront the hidden world behind prison walls, exploring social issues such as extortion, identity, and injustice. The series was filmed in Lebanon with purpose-built prison sets, and was written by the Masna' al-Hikayat workshop (founded by Hani Sarhan), with dramatic treatment by Doa'a Abdel Wahhab and direction by Ali Al-Ali. It stars a pan-Arab ensemble including Sulaf Fawakherji, Saba Mubarak, Fatima Al Safi, and Ayten Amer, and ran for two seasons (2021–2023).
