Al-Hujra (The Chamber) is a 13-episode Arabic-language psychological thriller that premiered on StarzPlay on 22 June 2023, filmed entirely in Lebanon over 70 days. The series centres on dissociative identity disorder as a narrative device, following a chain of events set off when Marah is forced to kill her husband and the crime spirals into blackmail and revenge. It features a Lebanese and Syrian ensemble cast including Mohammed Al-Ahmad, Wissam Fares, Reem Khoury, Nour Ali, Ammar Shalak, and Hadi Bou Ayash, with the lead actor carrying the added technical challenge of portraying a dual role.
